This one day, three hour interactive workshop is designed for youth ages 8 to 12 that want to learn improvisation as well as those that are looking just to have fun!  Participants will focus on the basics of improvisation: ‘yes and’, ensemble building, trust and self-confidence.  Participants will be moving and creating the entire time.  All youth need to do is wear comfortable clothing and bring their imagination…and a water bottle.

All students will have free admission to any public Madcap show the weekend of the class!

The workshop will be taught by Brian Harper, a co-owner and performer at MaDcap.  Brian received a BA in Theatre and has performed in over 2,000 improv shows.  Brian has a passion in bringing out the creativity and imagination in young people.  Brian manages the Educational Theatre for Kaiser Permanente and has written plays and workshops for audiences Kindergarten through 6th grade.
